Eric Hatfield is a Chief deputy at Caddo Parish Constable's Office for 229,000 citizens keeping families and communities safe. He has 18 years of Law Enforcement Experience and started as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the Juvenile Court. He don’t have all the money and don’t have all the answers but he do all the will to be their most ethical and effective Sheriff. Hatfield brings a unique blend of leadership and a deep understanding of the challenges facing the community. His commitment to public service is not just a part of his career—it's a calling. Having already made a positive impact on countless lives, Hatfield's journey in law enforcement has been marked by a dedication to community well-being and a steadfast resolve to make Caddo Parish a safer place for all. Hatfield understands that effective policing goes beyond enforcement; it's about fostering trust, understanding, and collaboration.

As an experienced leader in this community, he want to support the people of Caddo Parish by bringing a fresh approach to these areas that need empowerment, stability and focus. There are many challenges the citizens of Caddo Parish face every day. To name a few violence in the community, drug abuse, bullying, unsafe highways, high taxes, over crowded prison system, troubled leadership. The list is astounding. 

During his career, Hatfield spent time in patrol, field training, investigations, problem-oriented policing, community policing, and tactical team operations—providing his experience in all levels of law enforcement. 

As a candidate for Caddo Parish Sheriff, Eric Hatfield brings a vision for a safer, more connected community—one where every voice is heard and every citizen feels secure.
